Algol Chemicals is looking for

Poolia is recruiting a structured and communicative Logistics Assistant to Algol Chemicals. The position could be based in Malmö or in Kvarntorp Kumla in Sweden. The position is full-time. Preferably, you could start within three months. Please apply as soon as possible.

Job description

You are offered challenging position in an international environment. You will be part of the development and expansion of the logistics operations in the Nordic region. Your main task will be handling the daily operations regarding our international and domestic deliveries. You make sure that our logistics processes run smoothly and timely. Your daily tasks include office work related to shipments, cooperation with freight companies, handling import and export documents, invoice handling and administrative tasks in the logistics department. The position requires some minor traveling (mainly in the Nordics) to visit the offices and warehouses in the Nordic region. You will report directly to the Logistics Manager.


You probably have a high school degree or a degree from a YH or KY in logistics or transportation management. We believe you have at least 3-5 years of work experience from a relevant role, probably from a haulier, shipping or transportation company. You could also currently work in a logistics department. Fluency in speaking and writing English and Swedish a prerequisite for the position. Previous experience from the ERP system ASW and the CRM system Sales Force would be an advantage. You are an experienced Excel user. You are organized and efficient in your work tasks. You are able to stay focused also in fast-paced environment and challenging situations. You are solution focused, flexible and you have a positive attitude which spreads to your colleagues and collaboration partners. You are able to make independent decisions and develop your work continuously to make our logistics operations better. You have the ability to work both independently and as part of our international logistics team.
